People took it to the streets of Swat demanding the arrest of culprits behind a school van attack in Charbagh tehsil of Swat on Tuesday.
The protest is deemed as the largest protest in the history of the Valley.
The Monday’s attack on a school van, which left the driver of the school van dead and two students injured, is the latest in the rise of violence that has gripped the valley after the resurgence of the TTP fighters in the Valley last month.
Protesters chanting slogans on the streets are demanding law enforcement agencies for swift action against the TTP fighters, though the TTP has denied any involvement in the incident.
Many are holding play cards demanding for peace and end to extortion and violence.
A jirga decided to bury body of the slain driver after successful negotiations with the local authorities.
While the second massive demonstration by PTM against surge in violence led by Manzoor Pashteen & Senator Mushtaq has reached Mingora city.
Earlier today in a press conference PTI leader from the Swat constituency, Murad Saeed demanded Law enforcement forces to take action against kidnapping for ransom and militancy in Swat and adjacent areas.
