Angelina Jolie visits Pakistan flood victims, saying she’s ‘never seen anything like this’.
Mr and Mrs Smith actress promises to use her influence to appeal to the world for help in the rehabilitation of the flood affected people in Pakistan.
Jolie’s visit has been arranged by IRC. She is also a special envoy for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees,is once again visiting Pakistan. Her last visit to Pakistan was back in 2010 in the aftermath of a massive earthquake.
The Hollywood actress visited National Flood Response Coordination Centre on Wednesday, where she was briefed by the officials regarding the scale of devastation caused by the floods and climate change.
“I’ve never seen anything like this,” Angelina Jolie says on #Pakistan flood devastation. “If enough aid doesn’t come, they wont make it, too many children, so malnourished… winter is coming..I’m overwhelmed but i don’t feel its fair to say that because i am not living in this”.
